A royal expert has claimed that Princess Kate’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, could “slip” and accidentally spill some secrets if he appears on Celebrity Big Brother.
Goldsmith has reportedly signed up for the latest series with insiders branding it the “most controversial signing ever”.
According to The Sun, he is “chomping at the bit” to appear on the show which lands on ITV on Monday at 9pm.
Speaking to GB News Angela Levin said: “He is one of those relatives who needs a lot of attention and wants to get some money.

“Even though I believe he is a millionaire, he would like to make money out of it and I think that’s a shame.
“The thing is, he probably thinks he can control whatever he says and become famous. But in actual fact, with the cameras are running all the time, you can easily slip and say something completely inappropriate.
“It will get people watching. I think it’s the wrong thing to do, particularly at the wrong time.
“He should have said, look, I’m sorry, I don’t want any questions about my niece and I won’t be coming on the show.”

Goldsmith reportedly auditioned for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on ITV last year but he was allegedly rejected over concerns it would embarrass the Prince and Princess of Wales.
A source also told The Sun: “The CBB team love him because of his link to Kate and the fact that he’s confident and loud and won’t hold back.
“He’s made it clear he will talk about everything and anything, and he’s pretty outspoken when it comes to Harry and Meghan.
“Gary also holds a deep affection for Kate and Wills and will be able to give a fascinating insight into what it’s really like being related to the future King and Queen.

“He could be TV gold and ITV knows it. The deal he signed is for good money.”
An ITV spokesperson told The Daily Express that all names are speculation at this stage.
If he does appear on the show, he could be alongside the likes of former X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh as well as former This Morning host Phillip Schofield.
Reports have suggested ITV chiefs paid £2million to secure a host of high-profile stars to make this year’s series “unforgettable”.
