Princess Kate has received a touching message during Prince William’s visit to a synagogue today as he returns to public duties.
The Prince of Wales missed a memorial service for his late godfather on Tuesday due to “personal reasons” but appeared for the event in London today.

Salt, 94, told William: “I’m sorry, I’m sure that if your wife would’ve been well, she would’ve been here. I miss her so much. Give her my best wishes, please.”
Princess Kate is currently recovering from abdominal surgery at her Windsor home and is not expected to return to royal duties until after Easter.
After William pulled out of the memorial service for the late King of Greece yesterday, Kensington palace confirmed that the princess is still doing well in her recovery.
Salt spoke about her experiences at a Nazi concentration camp and the rise of anti-Semitism over the past months.

William asked: “How did you manage?”
To which the 94-year-old replied: “It wasn’t easy. Somehow I survived.”
William reached out to hold her hand and said: “I’m so sorry it’s got to this stage, it will get better.”
During his appearance the prince spoke of his and Princess Kate’s concerns regarding the rise of anti-Semitism.

He said: “Anti-Semitism has no place in society. Prejudice has no place in society. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I want you all to know you can talk about it and your experiences.
“Both Catherine and I are extremely concerned about the rise in anti-Semitism that you guys have talked about this morning and I’m just so sorry if any of you have had to experience that.
“It has no place… that’s why I’m here today to reassure you all that people do care and people do listen and we can’t let that go.”
The event was initially planned to coincide with Holocaust Memorial Day last month but had to be postponed due to Kate’s hospital procedure.
