Princess Kate and Prince William are currently under pressure to release the original Mother’s Day image after an apology was issued over the edited photo.
The Prince of Wales, 41, took the photograph of Kate and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis at Adelaide Cottage to celebrate Mother’s Day.
However, multiple photo agencies issued a “kill” notice on the picture after noticing several digital alterations.
Kate later took responsibility for editing the photo, writing on X: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.

The group replied to several high-profile royal commentators on X with demands to see the unedited shot of the Waleses.
Replying to one, they wrote: “It’s a press office statement that doesn’t really explain anything. Hope you’ll be asking for the original.”
They also commented in a reply to another: “So where’s the original?”
Responding to a third, Republic asked: “Where’s the original photo?”
Also in a reply to another, Republic posted: “No doubt you’ll be questioning why and asking to see the original.”
Earlier today, the PA news agency became the latest photo agency to withdraw the image from its picture service.
A spokesperson for the UK’s national news agency said: “Like other news agencies, PA Media issued the handout image provided by Kensington Palace of the Princess of Wales and her children in good faith yesterday.
“We became aware of concerns about the image and we carried a report about it last night, and made clear that we were seeking urgent clarification about the image from Kensington Palace.
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
“In the absence of that clarification, we are killing the image from our picture service.”
Prince William will be seen later today as he attends the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey.
The Princess of Wales will not join her husband as she continues to recover from abdominal surgery which took place in January.
