Jonnie Irwin has admitted he “bl**dy loves” the latest change he’s made to his family’s Newcastle home as his mammoth renovation continues.
The A Place in the Sun star – who recently returned to the UK after celebrating his 50th birthday in Spain – has faced his fair share of obstacles when it comes to transforming his house over the past few months.
Sharing a series of snaps of the latest feature on Instagram, Irwin penned alongside: “It’s in and I bl**dy love it!
“We’ll probably be known as the ‘house with the orange door’ and I’m fine with that!
“I asked @alunag_aluminiumsupplier for the widest possible door for the full F’ off Orange! #smitten #dooroftheday #frontdoor #reno #renovationproject.”
It didn’t take long for a number of Irwin’s followers to applaud the striking change to his home – including A Place in the Sun star Ben Hillman.
Hillman replied to the Instagram post: “Johnnie that looks f**kin awesome, the Tangerine Dream strikes again!”
Meanwhile, A Place in the Sun stars Danni Menzies and Laura Hamilton also showed their support as they liked Irwin’s post.
Several of Irwin’s other followers also weighed in to praise the 50-year-old’s latest addition, including one fan who penned: “Love it! my front room has my main wall in that orange, it’s so cozy, and always makes me happy!”
Elsewhere, a second weighed in: “Love the orange door! My fave colour!”
