Diddly Squat Farm Shop, alongside Lisa Hogan, was forced to take to Instagram today and issue an apology to its website users.
The website allows users to shop the produce from the farm, check out their Diddly Squat Classic Caviar and checkout many other features of the farm – especially during this period when the Chipping Norton farm shop is closed.
However, users of the site were unable to gain access as it had crashed and left the official Diddly Squat Farm Shop account and Hogan to come to the rescue.
Posting an image of Clarkson looking frustrated, the official Diddly Squat account captioned the post: “We are aware our site is currently down. We apologise for the inconvenience and are working hard to fix it.
“Thank you for your patience,” it added as well as posting it on its story so other users would be able to see the issue.
Hogan reposted the image onto her Instagram account and captioned it: “Up and working again soon! So sorry!”
Fans of the farm shop are unable to shop most of the items on the website at the moment, as the bio in the account reads: “The farm shop us currently hibernating. We reopen March 1stst.”
Users of the shop were quick to comment underneath the two posts and joked that it had been Clarkson who had broken the site with his hammer.
“Have you tried turning it off with your hammer and back on again? *genius noises*,” one user quipped before another echoed: “Has Jeremy used his hammer?”
A third user urged Jeremy to use his “repair kit! Hammer!” before a fourth joined in on the joke and asked: “But everything is fixable with a hammer isn’t it?” (sic)
Jeremy Clarkson’s farm shop site was down
Clarkson, Hogan and Kaleb Cooper are all set to return to screens for the third season in May, with the Grand Tour star turning his attention to pigs – leaving Cooper less than impressed.
The third season is also set to feature Cooper and Clarkson’s “biggest ever” falling out – something the young farmer teased last year.
The synopsis on Amazon reads: “The third series of Clarkson’s Farm finds Diddly Squat facing some seriously daunting challenges.
“The crops are failing in the severe hot weather, inflation has driven prices of supplies sky high, dreams for the beloved restaurant are dashed and now the farm shop also faces closure.
Jeremy and Kaleb will return for series three in May
“Jeremy urgently needs to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet, so hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land – thick woodland and hedgerows that make up half of Diddly Squat. This triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes, involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles and deer
“Someone new arrives to Diddly Squat, which puts Kaleb’s nose out of joint – as well as the returning characters all working to help Jeremy’s farming ambitions come to fruition.”
In a first-look at the new series released by Amazon earlier this year, Clarkson was joined by other series regulars Charlie Ireland Gerald Cooper.
And there’s good news ahead for Clarkson’s Farm fans too as a fourth season has already been given the green light by Amazon bosses.
