An NBA fan won himself $100,000 on Sunday night as he stunned Damian Lillard to win a three-point shooting competition.
The challenge, hosted by YouTuber MrBeast, saw a fan named Jaren face off with the Bucks star before the Rising Stars team took on the All-Star squad drafted by Shaquille O’Neal in the new look, three-game format.
Jaren had to make one deep three-pointer from the logo before the sweet-shooting Lillard could make three in order to win the money.
And while it appeared that the fan was going to run out of time to do so, he spectacularly banked in a three-pointer at the buzzer to win the money, as he was swarmed by O’Neal, Kenny Smith and a herd of mascots.
Jaren then sat in a container filled with cash as Stephen Curry and Lillard – who had only made two threes – threw dollar bills on him.
‘This is surreal,’ he said afterwards.

While Lillard had not made enough three-pointers to win the competition, Jaren was about to run out of time to usurp the star, as MrBeast said they were approaching a commercial break.
The money would have gone to charity if Jaren had not won.
Fans went crazy for Jaren’s upset as they reacted to the upset on social media.
‘Telling my kids Damian Lillard lost a 3 point shooting competition to some kid with a mullet named Jaren,’ one said on X.
‘Idk that last Jaren shot had some aura to it, a second added.
And a third said, I’ll never forget where I was when Dame lost to Jaren.’
Lillard’s loss to Jaren came before he suited up for Shaq’s OGs in the new All-Star Game format.
The guard scored nine points and hit the game-winning shot for his squad.
