A woman who claims she was possessed by a demon for decades has shared the horrors of being plagued by screams and visions of blood-soaked windows.
Susan Marie told DailyMail.com that she was controlled by a dark force from the time she was around two or three years old.
She was raised by abusive parents who ‘were into Satanism’ and felt uncomfortable going to churches as a young woman.
‘I saw the windows in the house covered in blood, like a murder scene. I heard horrible sounds of screaming like people were being tortured,’ said Susan Marie.
‘The demons taunted me by saying terrible things: ‘You’re miserable. We’re going to slice you like a f****** pig.’
The torment left her feeling ‘trapped,’ but a friend urged her to seek help from a higher power and that is when she met Father Carlos Martins, a Catholic priest who has performed many exorcisms.
The exorcism sessions were ‘quite violent’, Father Carlos Martins explained, with Susan Marie in a sturdy oak chair and strong men holding her down, in front of a table with the Bible and holy water.
Susan Marie broke free, punch people and lift big, strong men over six feet on her own, the priest claimed.
Her unusual experience echoed that of Tucker Carlson who claimed in a documentary that he was ‘clawed and bloodied’ by a ‘demon’ during a terrifying attack.

Carlson said he initially believed he was having ‘the weirdest dream I’ve ever had’ until all of a sudden, blood started to show on his bedsheets and marks on his body.
There is no scientific evidence to support exorcisms are real, leaving many people to attribute the practise to the placebo effect.
These individuals may be suffering from mental disorders that lead to hallucinations, hoping for any kind of relief will believe they have been freed from whatever evil was controlling them.
And some conditions that were once deemed demonic possession, such as schizophrenia, hysteria and epilepsy, are now treated with medication.
Susan Marie, whose name has been changed to protect her privacy, had a troubled childhood, growing up in a home of anger and abuse.
‘As a kid, I always knew I was different. I didn’t behave like the other kids. They enjoyed life. I didn’t,’ she said.
Being possessed led her to believe she was losing her mind.
‘It feels horrible. You hear things you don’t want to hear and you see things you don’t want to see, she said.
‘Everything is very graphic. You feel like you are losing your mind with no way out but death.

‘Inside, I felt extremely cold, like I was in the Arctic with no coat. I felt incredible apprehension and agitation, like my blood was boiling. I also felt—I have no idea why—like I had to pee or vomit.’
She endured several visits with Father Martins, hoping to release herself from the torment. But no matter how many times she went, the exorcisms never got easier.
When Susan Marie requested baptism, the priest knew that was a turning point.
When an adult is baptized they are able to also receive communion at the same time, allowing them to take ‘the body of Christ.’
Catholics believe that the first time taking communion means the individual has fully accepted Christ as the head of the Church.
But Susan Marie still felt out of control during the exorcisms, sometimes not remembering what happened.
There were times she would bounce back into reality, feeling exhausted and sore everywhere.
‘Everything hurt and I had no recollection of what happened,’ said Susan Marie.
‘The worst was when the demons used my body to hurt someone during the possession. The guilt was overwhelming.’
Eventually, Father Martins said he was able to cast the demon from the woman’s body.
‘[It was like the quiet after a horrible thunderstorm. Peace,’ she said.

‘But you know what you’ve just been through. I knew when the chaos inside left. Peace and quiet came.
‘It’s easier now because I know the truth about myself. I know I am loved by God and by good people who care for me.’
Ontario-born Father Martins converted from atheism to Christianity as an undergraduate.
He has since performed multiple exorcisms in his role as a Catholic priest and a member of the Companions of the Cross, travelling the world to spread his faith.
In a new book, ‘The Exorcist Files: True Stories About the Reality of Evil and How to Defeat It’, Father Martins reveals some of the chilling cases he has personally encountered.
‘Shortly after my ordination, the exorcism ministry kind of found me,’ he said.
‘I was placed at a parish church where all the the exorcisms of the Archdiocese were, were conducted.’
Father Martins was rapidly assigned to cases involving poltergeist-type infestations, and discovered he had an ability for it.
‘I think it was an intuition that I always had, or that it was a kind of a grace given by God in the moment,’ he said.
‘And that is that if the devil is present somewhere, he’s going to be there for a reason. In other words, you don’t get a demon by making peanut butter sandwiches.
‘You don’t get a demon by sharing a toilet seat, but somebody with someone who has demons, you don’t get a demon by sitting on a bus next to somebody with demons.
‘You get a demon because you opened a door, and so as long as that door is open, he’s going to be there.
‘My job is to get rid of the demon’s right to be there.’
