One entrepreneur who shed more than 200lb (14st 4lb) through fundamental lifestyle changes has described the key elements that helped him achieve the transformation.
Justin Pulliam, who once weighed over 30st 5lb, has successfully maintained his weight loss for several years, crediting personal accountability and determination for his results.
The dieter says he made great strides by giving up unhealthy foods and mindless eating.

He also attributes his success to fundamental changes in his eating habits, rather than exercise routines.
The slimmer’s approach focussed predominantly on eliminating foods from his diet, like soda and fast food.
Alongside these modifications, Justin implemented specific dietary changes.
“In my experience, making dietary changes was the key to my weight loss success,” he told GB News. “I made great strides by giving up fizzy drinks, fast food and mindless eating.”
“I started paying attention to my snacking patterns and ensuring I only ate when I was hungry and not just bored,” he said.
To avoid derailing, Justin made sure he had habit-healthy alternatives readily available at home.
“If I was craving something sweet, instead of cookies or ice cream, I’d have fruit,” he noted.
Like many on a weight loss journey, Justin faced a significant mental challenge. He admitted to struggling with self-deception about his appearance throughout his life.

“It was so difficult to fight the mental battle of altering my perspective and being willing to change my actions every single day,” he revealed. “Despite my waist expanding to a size 54, I had been telling myself I looked fine.”
But with persistent work and resolve, Justin managed to break the ingrained patterns holding him back.
He maintained that weight gain is a gradual process that “can catch you off guard and doesn’t happen all at once”.
More importantly, he’s noticed significant improvements in his quality of life since reaching his weight loss milestone.
“I feel better, can play with my children, have better hormone balance, and am healthier overall,” he explained.
