Aldi has launched a new autumnal snack and Britons are over the moon.
The supermarket’s Village Bakery Pumpkin Spice Buns with cream cheese icing, priced at £1.25 for a pack of two, have landed on shelves just in time for Halloween and Bonfire Night festivities.
Social media posts by Newfoodsuk have garnered a lot of attention from pumpkin enthusiasts.
One Aldi shopper was full of praise for the treat. They said: “My family and I tried these yesterday – they’re banging.”

Another customer said: “Got to try these.” A third stated: “Would love to try them.” An ecstatic pumpkin fan claimed they were “running to Aldi”.
An enthusiastic shopper tagged their friend in the comments section, stating: “I wanna try these.” To this, their loved one replied: “I’ll take you and you can go in.”
One social media user asked a fellow Aldi customer: “Did you see these when you were in there?” To this, they responded: “I didn’t – otherwise they would have been in my trolley.”
Several Britons enlisted the help of loved ones to get their hands on the goods.
One person asked a fellow Aldi shopper: “Can we look for these tomorrow?” Another said to their friend: “Omg…go get some!”
A third asked their loved one to “please please please” pick up the buns on their walk home.
Another seconded this sentiment, asking someone they lived with to “bring them home please”.
The comments sections were flooded with cries of “Wow”, “Oooh” and “Need” across both Facebook and Instagram.
