Glamorous Australian boxer Cherneka Johnson took to Instagram to showcase her stunning physical transformation.

Earlier in May, the Aussie star bested Nina Hughes via a majority decision, following some confusion in the ring.

After the pair went to war for 10 rounds for the WBA bantamweight world title in Perth, ring announcer Dan Hennessey mistakenly awarded the majority victory to Hughes.

But in her celebrations, both fighters were called back to the middle of the ring, before it was actually revealed Johnson had won. It came after she had lost her IBF world super bantamweight belt to Ellie Scotney in June 2023.

The dramatic victory means that Johnson now sits on a record of 16-2-0 having also knocked out six of her previous opponents.

Johnson is yet to announce when she’ll make her return to the ring after clinching the WBA bantamweight world title in May

Johnson, 29, is yet to announce who she’ll take on next but appears she has been working hard in the gym, preparing for a potential fight.

On Tuesday, she posted a revealing picture on her Instagram, showing her back and trap muscles with a photograph of her back.

She captioned the image: ‘Strong in and out of fight camp!

‘Bringing a better version of me to the ring every time I get back in there.’

‘Follow over on my OnlyFans to watch the transformation and the process.’

The fighter has previously spoken out on a potential rematch with Hughes. While she did not confirm whether the fight would take place, she insisted that the meeting would knock Hughes out before the end of the fight.

‘To be honest it wasn’t my best performance with this new style we sort of have. So if the next, if it was to happen again, it’s not going the distance,’ she said during an interview with YouTube boxing channel MMAFightingonSBN.

Earlier this year, Johnson told MMAFightingonSBN that she would be interested in fighting in the USA

Johnson is also well known for having suffered one of the worst cuts many boxing fans have seen in recent years while successfully defending her IBF world title in a meeting with fellow Aussie Susie Ramadan.

During the fight, she had the vision out of her left eye obscured by blood after she suffered a deep cut to her forehead during the fight, which would later require 12 stitches.

During her interview with MMAFightingonSBN she also spoke out on her recovery time, stating that it took her ‘a good 10 weeks before she did any contact again’.

Despite having her vision obscured at times, Johnson kept her cool and outfought her opponent to win a unanimous points decision against opponent Susie Ramadan

Speaking on her future, she added: ‘I feel like I want to chase those other belts, whether it’s a rematch first or the mandatory next. I would love to come over and fight in America.

‘I’ve only fought in Australia and in the UK, so I think I have a lot of fans over in America and would love to fight over there.’
