Fulham 2-0 Tottenham – Premier League: Live score, team news and updates as Lukic doubles the hosts’ lead

That’s superbly worked! Fulham have doubled their lead!

They deserve that, in truth. They’ve done all the running and the threatening since the restart, with Spurs nowhere to be seen.

Alex Iwobi slipped in Timothy Castagne and the full back drilled in a cross. Sasa Lukic met it with his thigh and found the net.

It wasn’t tidy, but he won’t care!

Big take from Guglielmo Vicario to deny Fulham a second.

The hosts moved the ball out wide to Andreas Pereira down the far channel and he looked to fire a low delivery across goal.

Players in white were queued up and ready for a tap in.

With the words of Ange Postecoglou and Jamie Redknapp ringing in their ears, Spurs will surely look for another late response.

And it absolutely wouldn’t surprise me if they found one. Let’s see.

Remember, they need three points to move into the top four.

Spurs haven’t done enough. I expect a reaction but the game has surprised me because Fulham have been the better team. I thought it would be completely Spurs dominating the ball.

Fulham thoroughly deserve that lead.

It was a moment of real quality from Antonee Robinson that allowed Rodrigo Muniz to sweep into the corner with aplomb.

Spurs have had their chances, too, but they will be worried about how vulnerable they’ve been at the back. They have to tighten up.

Plenty for both managers to think about.

Half chance for Dejan Kulusevski to test Bernd Leno but his effort was blocked by Joao Palhinha, the league’s best tackler.

Kulusevski then took a blow in his nether regions. Ouch.

This is a good spell of possession for Spurs.

It’s patient and there’s a little bit of frustration creeping in around Craven Cottage now. The hosts aren’t pushing on like they were.

James Maddison has been sloppy in midfield and exchanged words briefly with Sasa Lukic, before the referee played peacemaker.

James Maddison tried to squeeze a cheeky effort beyond Bernd Leno at the near post after fine work from Destiny Udogie out wide.

The intention was great but the execution was slightly off.

He certainly wasn’t signed for that!

Spurs threatened again after a corner and the ball was moved out to centre back Radu Dragusin in a good area.

I’m not sure whether he then crossed or tried a shot, but either way, the ball fizzed across the face of goal and away.

So poor from Brennan Johnson. Spurs should have scored.

James Maddison was threaded into space centrally and, with bodies left and right, shifted play across to Johnson in the channel.

The forward’s effort was easy pickings for Bernd Leno, however.

End-to-end action now! This is a great watch.

Willian played the ball out wide and then collected again on the edge of the box. He took on a low shot which was saved down low.

Heung-min Son goes close at the other end! What a breakaway.

The captain launched a run down the middle and was picked out on the edge of the area before looking to bend home first time.

There was plenty of power behind the strike but he could only drop the ball over the crossbar with Bernd Leno scrambling.

Inches away from Fulham! They’re knocking on the door.

Antonee Robinson fired in a low ball from the left and Rodrigo Muniz, sniffing like a centre forward should, couldn’t make contact.

Spurs then scrambled away before launching a counter of their own.

The home side really do have to capitalise on their good spells.

We all know how good Spurs are at finishing games. Aston Villa certainly got the full brunt of that brutal treatment last week.

Fulham are moving the ball well across the lines, looking to exploit spaces. They look more dangerous on the counter, though.

Spurs just need to steady the ship.

Fulham wanted a free-kick after Radu Dragusin challenged Rodrigo Muniz as he looked to twist and turn beyond the backline.

But their appeals fell on deaf ears and play continued.

Cristian Romero and his goalkeeper were forced to step up to deny Fulham the opener. This is a worrying spell for Ange Postecoglou.

The hosts deserve credit. They’re hassling and harrying their opponents and forcing turnovers in very promising positions.

Fulham pushed bodies forward and Andreas Pereira looked set to find the net, only for Cristian Romero to deny him with a fine challenge.

The danger wasn’t over yet, though. The ball was recycled back in and Guglielmo Vicardio parried away Sasa Lukic’s stinging effort.

Spurs won a corner after a good move and worked it short to James Maddison, who then looked for debutant Radu Dragusin.

The defender, who hasn’t put a foot wrong so far, challenged but lost out after the ball was nicked away from him at the last second.

At the other end, Dragusin barged Rodrigo Muniz off the ball and won a goal kick. Physicality, composure and passing… he’s got it all.

Both sides look up for this one. Fulham are strong on home soil.

Willian really is great to watch still. He found Alex Iwobi with a sumptuous pass using the outside of his boot moments earlier.

The midfielder was closed down in the box and lost out.

What a start! Fulham really should be ahead.

Spurs looked so comfortable in possession in the opening stages but James Maddison gave the ball away with a poor pass.

The hosts then pushed forward and Rodrigo Muniz tried his luck, with his strike from a tight angle deflected away from goal.

Andreas Pereira then followed up and his shot was blocked, too.

Luckily, Joao Palhinha is a man who relishes pressure. There’s a reason Bayern Munich tried so hard to sign him last summer.

Spurs relish movement in the centre of the park but do press high. Should Palhinha force cheap turnovers, Fulham could be in.

Joao Palhinha and Willian have been recalled by Fulham today.

They’re the two changes from last weekend’s loss to Wolves.

Harrison Reed has dropped out, with Palhinha alongside Sasa Lukic in midfield. Willian has been given the nod over Harry Wilson.

There’s even a spot on the bench for the returning Raul Jimenez.

As expected, Radu Dragusin makes his first start for Spurs this afternoon. He’s replaced the injured Micky van de Ven.

Other than that, it’s the same side that swatted Villa aside last week.

Richarlison is on the bench after missing out for a brief spell.

This is a huge afternoon for Spurs’ top-four hopes.

As we said earlier, a win would send them into the Champions League places and ahead of high-flying Aston Villa.

They would also open up their gap over Manchester United to nine points. That would be a massive chasm with just 10 games left.

At this point in time, they certainly look in pole position.

He’s had to remain very patient, but Spurs defender Rasu Dragusin is set to be handed his full debut this afternoon.

Micky van de Ven will miss out due to a hamstring injury.

‘I’ll take the suspense out of it. He’ll start tomorrow,’ Ange Postecoglou said. ‘He’s had to be patient for his opportunity with Micky and Cristian [Romero] being outstanding and one game a week.

‘I thought he did well with his opportunity [as a substitute against Aston Villa]. I think he can bring us something different.’

We’ll find out who else has got the nod in just over five minutes!
