The property’s secluded 14 acres may have provided the perfect escape for the starlet and the President, away from the prying eyes of the press and the political turmoil of the era.

Sinatra was reportedly protective over the actress, whom he described as a close friend, but a physical relationship between the two was never confirmed. 

On the other hand, Monroe’s infamous ‘Happy Birthday Mr. President,’ performance ignited – and continues to ignite – beliefs that the she and JFK had an affair.
