The £455million Brand Beckham business empire already features lucrative deals with high-end companies and a property portfolio worth more than £120million.

But David and Victoria’s ever-growing fortune has now been boosted by nearly £29million after their Netflix show proved a smash hit.

The former England football star’s brands more than doubled profits in 2023, thanks to the success of hit docuseries following his illustrious career.

This comes on top of a raft of brand partnerships that continue to generate millions for the couple – especially David, despite him retiring as a player 12 years ago.

While his promotion of major firms such as Adidas, Calvin Klein and Pepsi is better known, Beckham has also struck tie-ups with the likes of mattress company Tempur, Chinese tech giant AliExpress and a £1million deal with air fryer maker SharkNinja.

These are in addition to partnerships with car manufacturers Jaguar and Maserati, along with EA Sports, Emporio Armani, Gillette, Haig Club, Nespresso and Samsung.

David and Victoria also appeared in an Uber Eats advert during the Super Bowl in February, after their son Brooklyn signed a collaboration with the delivery app.

And Victoria has signed deals through her fashion and beauty firm with Mytheresa and Augustinus Bader as well as Mango, to take her designs to the high street.

In October, the Beckhams expanded their property empire with the purchase of a £60million Miami mega-mansion.

The impressive nine-bedroom property, which was only built in 2018, will keep David near his team Inter Miami CF, which he co-owns.

The home in Florida comes with a range of stunning features including a chef’s kitchen, private cinema, gym, spa and swimming pool. It also boasts 13 bathrooms, an outdoor kitchen, a rooftop lounge and 124ft of frontage on Biscayne Bay.

The Beckhams have had a base in Florida for years, and also spent about £18million on a full-floor five-bedroom penthouse in downtown Miami in 2020.

The couple already have a property portfolio which includes a £31million townhouse in London’s Holland Park and a £12million Cotswolds country pile.

The latest Miami purchase was made after the Sunday Times Rich List stated David and Beckham’s net worth in May as £455million, up from £425million in 2023.

The newspaper also quoted a report in Forbes saying the decision by Lionel Messi to sign with Inter Miami in July 2023 sent the value of the club soaring to $1billion.

And the couple own a £16million superyacht called Seven, which is named after the number on David’s Manchester United and England shirts.

As for David’s latest £28.8million in dividends, this came after he sold a chunk of his business empire – which includes deals with firms such as Stella Artois – about three years ago.

He now owns 45 per cent of DB Brands after selling the remaining 55 per cent slice to buyout group Authentic Brands, which also owns fashion chain Ted Baker.

This deal is thought to have earned him £160million in cash plus Authentic shares worth £80million – with his remaining 45 per cent stake in DB Brands valued at £200million.

In total, there were significant payouts with £22.6million of dividends paid to shareholders over 2023 and a further £40.5million at the start of 2024.

David’s brands saw sales climb to £72.3million, 2 per cent higher than 2022, while profits soared to £28.9million — more than doubling from £12.8million in 2022.

Fan frenzy for Posh and Becks has rocketed since the release of Beckham in October 2023, produced by Studio 99 TV, which was one of the most popular shows on the streaming service that year.

The programme featured never-before-seen footage of the footballer’s rise from working-class beginnings to global stardom.

Freshly filed accounts dubbed the show a ‘resounding success’, after it helped the production company make £11.9million in sales.

This is the cherry on the cake for David, 49, who spent Christmas in Miami with wife Victoria, 50 and four children Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13.

Former Spice Girl Victoria shared a Christmas snap of the family celebrating the holidays together abroad this week.

The post was captioned with a wholesome message, which read: ‘Being together for the holidays makes me so happy xxxx I love you all so much’.

Netflix success has also helped David to gain a wider social media following, as he now has 88million followers on Instagram.

The figures come as a breath of fresh air amid recent backlash of singer Cruz.

A teaser for his latest song ‘For Ya Love’ sparked debates over his ‘nepo baby’ status.

He lashed back at critics with a comment that ‘Jesus was a nepo baby’, which he swiftly deleted less than 12 hours later.

Victoria’s new fashion and beauty business has enjoyed better business since 2022, with sales rising by 52 per cent to £89.1million in 2023.

Her firm’s outgoing chief executive Marie Leblanc told the Financial Times in January that the company wanted to reach revenues of £100million in the next three years.
