Already accustomed to wearing the same uniform, Los Angeles Lakers teammates LeBron and Bronny James sported matching red pajamas for their family Christmas post on Instagram.
‘MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE JAMES GANG TO YOURS!!!’ read the post, which featured 39-year-old LeBron, his 38-year-old wife Savannah, 20-year-old son Bronny, 17-year-old son Bryce, and 10-year-old daughter Zhuri.
Bronny, of course, is in his rookie season with the Lakers and hasn’t appeared in an NBA game since December 8 as the 6-foot-2 guard continues to build experience with the team’s G League affiliate.
Bryce, meanwhile, continues to draw Division I scouts at Chatsworth, California’s Sierra Canyon School, where he is about to embark on his senior season. Both Ohio State and Duquesne have already offered the 6-foot-6 forward a scholarship, according to 247 Sports.
Many commenters were quick to point out the growing Bryce’s increased stature.
‘Omg Bryce is gonna be taller then King James,’ one person remarked about their dwindling two-inch height differential.

‘Bro is Bryce gone be 6’9?’ another asked, echoing similar statements.
Zhuri, too, is following in her father’s footsteps, albeit not on the basketball court.
Instead, the budding volleyball star has decided to wear her father’s No. 6 as she discovers the sport. LeBron wore the number as a member of the Miami Heat, Lakers, and Team USA.
‘YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! @allthingszhuri LET’S GO BABY Z!! Best of luck this season and GO CRAZY!! #JamesGang,’ LeBron recently wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of Zhuri in her volleyball uniform.
LeBron scored 31 points in the Lakers’ 115-113 win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday as teammate Austin Reeves recorded a triple double. The win improves Los Angeles to 17-13.
Prior to his family Christmas post, James also shared a photo of himself at age 3 opening a mini basketball hoop alongside a tree.
And he was hardly the only athlete to get into the Christmas spirit this week.

‘Happy Holidays!’ he wrote in the caption.
