Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers’ wife Liliana Myers broke her silence on Thursday afternoon as she paid a heartfelt tribute to her “wonderful brave man”.
Myers’ co-star and friend Si King issued a statement to announce his death on Thursday, telling their fans: “I know Dave and his family would want me to thank all of you who sent messages of support in recent times.
“I meant to the world to him, his family and all The Hairy Bikers team. May I ask you all for one further kindness and allow Lili, his wife, his family, close friends and I some peace to process our huge loss.”
Hours after King posted on the Hairy Bikers Instagram and X accounts, his wife took her personal Facebook account to pay her own tribute.
In a small but impactful statement, she said: “Rest in peace, my love. My wonderful, brave man. Till next time we meet,” alongside some images of Myers – with many other tributes flowing in.
Myers met the love of his life in Romania where he and King were filming for the Hairy Bikers, and was said to be taken with within minutes of their meeting.

The couple lived together in Kent before moving to Staffordshire last summer, enjoying the time they had left with one another after Myers’ cancer diagnosis in 2022.
After undergoing aggressive chemotherapy to combat the disease, he had to learn how to walk again and majorly lost his appetite.
Later that year, he admitted that his diagnosis had taken a toll on his wife and said: “It is enormous pressure on Lil my partner.
“But Si was the one who drove us around for a week, hospital to hospital. London in and out, in and out. There was a week when Lil had to go away.

“So Si came to see me, and take me to the hospital and he batch cooked for my freezer. The first lost of chemo I had was really severe.
“By the second lot my hair came out. So that was it. It was ‘Lil get the clippers’. The Hairy Bikers of not, for anybody it’s not nice,” he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
King and Myers first began their on-screen partnership in 2004 and have been travelling around the UK, Europe and the wider world on their motorbikes – eating and cooking wherever they stopped.
Their latest BBC series, The Hairy Bikers Go West, started just weeks ago – and was something Myers never thought he would be able to do again.

In the first episode, Myers admitted it was a “dream come true” to be back on his motorbike and added: “I wasn’t sure I’d ever get back in the saddle again.
“There was a time I couldn’t balance, I couldn’t walk, I didn’t think I’d be getting on a bike.”
