Princess Beatrice’s stepson Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Mapelli Mozzi and his mother Dara Huang celebrated Chinese New Year, just days after the arrival of Wolfie’s new baby sister.
Huang, an American architect living in Chelsea, hosted a special Lunar New Year party for eight-year-old Wolfie on January 25.
The festivities came three days after Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their daughter Athena Elizabeth Rose, who was born on January 22 at 12:57pm.
Huang shared images of the celebration on social media, showing Wolfie seated on a white sofa in a red jumper with his iPad.

“POV when you have to start turning your New Year’s party into a gaming party,” she wrote. “As long as everyone is dressed in Asian clothes and eating cultural food, I’m happy.”
The party featured Wolfie’s friends dressed in red, gathered around playing games on their devices.
The celebration was organised with help from Dumplings Legend and family friend Lucas Lyon Leong.
Buckingham Palace announced that Athena Elizabeth Rose was born weighing four pounds and five ounces.
The Palace confirmed that the family are “enjoying spending time together with Athena’s older siblings, Wolfie and Sienna.”
Edoardo shared on Instagram that their new daughter is “tiny and absolutely perfect.”
“We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her,” the 41-year-old father wrote.
The new arrival becomes 11th in line to the throne, pushing Princess Eugenie to 12th place.
Dara Huang and Edoardo were together for three years from 2015 until 2018, becoming engaged in 2017.
Two years after their separation, Edoardo married Princess Beatrice in 2020, with the couple welcoming daughter Sienna in 2021.
The former couple are thought to be on friendly terms since their breakup.
Princess Beatrice, who was last seen publicly on Christmas Day at Sandringham, fondly refers to Wolfie as her “bonus child”.
On January 22, the day of Athena’s birth, Huang and Wolfie were spotted at Harrods for a Chinese New Year celebration, both dressed in traditional red.
Huang has been actively sharing Chinese New Year preparations since mid-January, anticipating the Year of the Snake celebrations on January 29.
“Life Lately: CNY has started guys so be prepared to see a lot of red!” Huang wrote on social media, promising “excited parties and good envy”.
