Danica Patrick has again thrown her support behind Donald Trump ahead of next month’s presidential election.

The 42-year-old former racing driver previously endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr before following him in backing Trump to reclaim the presidency later this year.

And now, speaking at the Hamilton County Republican Fall Dinner this week, Patrick opened up on why Trump is getting her vote over Kamala Harris.

She told the audience in attendance: ‘I think that Trump did a really good job of letting us know that there is such a thing as fake news.

‘The person that runs this country should ultimately be running it very much like a business. I can’t really think of a better businessman than Donald Trump.’

She also underlined Trump’s experience in the job as an influential factor.

‘There is nothing like a bit of experience to be able to prepare you,’ Patrick explained. ‘First rodeo is always a little difficult. I think this second rodeo, he would be able to make an insane difference.

‘A guy like that who has been in business as long as he has, he’s gonna go into that room and he’s gonna get stuff done. That’s what we need, a president who is actually going to make changes happen,’

Patrick also encouraged people to vote early for Trump, adding: ‘It’s a matter of doing that and helping people understand how to do it – especially getting people who have never voted before.’

Patrick, who recently went public with a mystery boyfriend on social media, previously dated New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers had also been vocal in his support for RFK Jr and even had the option to be his running mate for the White House before he withdrew as a candidate.

‘There were really two options. Retire and be his VP or keep playing. I wanted to keep playing,’ Rodgers said back in May.

‘I love Bobby (Kennedy), we had a couple of really nice conversations.’
