Charlamagne tha God delivered a stinging five-word review of Kamala Harris running mate Tim Walz this week.

The Breakfast Club radio host summed it up, ‘I don’t think he’s garbage’ after first citing a stinging Jay-Z lyric when considering if Walz was the right pick for a potential vice president over other choices like Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.

Charlamagne sarcastically mused on whether Minnesota’s governor is the best ‘white man that excites other white people’, but admitted he fails to see Walz’s ‘impact’.

Paraphrasing the Jay-Z hit ‘Takeover,’ Charlamagne asked, ‘What did Jay-Z say? “He had a spark when he started, but now he’s just garbage”?’

‘I don’t think he’s garbage, you know what I’m saying? But it’s just like, I don’t see the impact.’

Co-host Lauren LoRosa then jokingly added that Walz, ‘be chilling’.

‘We don’t need that now,’ Charlamagne hit back. ‘We don’t need you chillin’ Walz, okay? We need you on the front lines, okay?

‘You need a White man that excites other White people. I don’t know if he’s that White person that’s doing that, is he?’

The discussion took place as he and fellow Breakfast Club hosts went over Harris’ initially planned itinerary for her visit to North Carolina.

She was due to visit homecoming celebrations at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, but canceled a trip to her alma mater Howard University.

Instead, Harris headed to the Midwest for a string of events in Wisconsin and Michigan and appeared at a rally with singer Lizzo in Detroit, Michigan – another crucial swing state – on Saturday.

That sparked Charlamagne to snark: ‘The rest of ya’ll getting Tim Walz.’

On Thursday, Walz campaigned in North Carolina alongside former President Bill Clinton at an event in Durham.

But the radio host admitted he fails to see Walz’s ‘impact’ as he questioned if it was the right person for the job

He has been forced to prove himself after his debate performance against JD Vance left many Democrats unimpressed.

Republican Vance got higher marks for his debate performance, Walz was who Americans would rather have a beer with, according to likely voters polled by J.L Partners for DailyMail.com.

Walz  was preferred over Vance when asked about a variety of activities – including who they’d let babysit their kids, who they’d plan a road trip with and who they’d have watch their pets.

The polling suggested a ‘deeper relatability’ with Walz, despite the Minnesota governor’s uneven performance stacked up against Vance’s polished presentation.

At the same time, Walz slightly edged out Vance when likely voters were asked which candidate they felt was ‘weirdest.’

Walz has been supporting Harris on the campaign trail, including at a rally in North Carolina alongside former president Bill Clinton

Walz was the Democrat credited with dubbing Vance and former President Donald Trump ‘weird,’ saying at an early campaign rally with Vice President Kamala Harris: ‘These guys are creepy and yes, just weird as hell.’

He has recently been working hard to try and win over white, male voters who Harris desperately needs to secure in order to win.

Earlier this week, the vice presidential hopeful was out on a Pennsylvania farm showing off his shooting skills to coincide with the Democrat campaign’s new affinity group for hunters.
