Channel 4’s Love It Or Lose It sparked some major backlash from viewers this week, who deemed the couple starring in the latest episode “ungrateful”.
The latest in the show, which is fronted by Kirstie Allsopp an Phil Spencer, saw Wolverhampton couple Gordon and Suky getting some renovation assistance from the two experts.
Not long into the episode though, fans felt the need to “switch off” over the couple’s insistence that their £650k home, which included an indoor pool and sauna, was “bad for their mental health”.
The office manager and GP also shared three kids, so were torn about selling their home to make memories elsewhere or revamping the current house.
“There are quite a few things that don’t work for me in the house, the number one main thing is how dark our lounge is,” Suki, who was wanting to list the property, admitted.
The displeased home-owner continued: “I call it the cave. For my mental health I need some more natural light.”
She also went on to describe how she feels “isolated” and “lonely” while she cooks in the kitchen away from the rest of the family.
Adding to her list of needs, the mother-of-three also explained she would need a utility room, expressing her belief that laundry clutters the house.
Social media didn’t take too kindly to the couple’s demands and complaints, with one writing on X: “#lioli These 2 will never be happy. Suki and Gordon.”
“An hour max in the kitchen is not a reason to move, especially when your kitchen is that massive, ungrateful people always on this show,” a second fumed.

One penned: “She is a nightmare. Has she seen her house before complaining about other peoples! #lioli.”
“I’m switching off now! Pains in the a*** #lioli,” another fed up viewer commented.
“The only problem with this house is Suky. #LIOLI.” one more disgruntled fan added.
However, others believed the problem lay more with Gordon, with someone else sharing: “This lady doesn’t need a new house she needs a new husband. Bone idle! #lioli.”
“Are these people joking?!? More bedrooms than they actually need. An office for home working. And a effing swimming pool and sauna. Dose of reality required. Fast. #lioli,” argued another viewer.
Others took a more positive approach though, with some applauding the work that had been done by the team.

Despite Suki’s initial insistence on selling, in the end, the couple opted to invest £70,000 to transform the property.
Suki explained how she wanted a 210cm by 150cm wine cooler to go in the kitchen, and when Allsopp pointed out: “If you’ve got two fridges, you could store some wine in the annex,” Suki shot back: “Kirstie, do you want me to love this?”
Over a year later, the experts returned to see the finished product, with Suki admitting: “It was a house before. Now it’s a home.”
