A British couple have been found dead on a Caribbean beach.
An investigation has been launched after the couple were discovered on Paradise Beach in the village of L’Esterre on Saturday on the Grenadine island of Carriacou.
Police currently suspect the couple, named by local news as Rosalyn Foster,77, and her 76-year-old husband David John Foster, drowned.
Unconfirmed reports have also suggested that David got into difficulty and Rosalyn tried to save him.

David was declared dead at the scene, while Rosalyn died after being rushed to Princess Royal Hospital.
In a statement, the police said an autopsy on the bodies will seek to “tell us exactly what happened to them but for now, it’s an apparent drowning.”
Last month two American tourists in the Grenadines died during an apparent yacht hijacking. The bodies of US couple Ralph Hendry and Kathleen Brandel have not been found, but police have classed their deaths as homicides.
The deaths have sent shockwaves across the island, which has a population of just over 6,000. It is the second biggest island in Grenada and is roughly 12 miles long by three miles wide.
