Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is poised to leave the team after requesting a trade, according to reports.
NFL insider Tom Pelissero claims Metcalf has asked for a move away from Seattle after six seasons, a request which has been granted.
The 27-year-old, who has earned two Pro Bowl selections during his time with the Seahawks, had 66 catches for 992 yards last season.
After being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, he has recorded 438 catches for 6,324 yards and 48 touchdowns over the course of his career with Seattle.
News of Metcalf’s impending departure came just minutes after Seahawks legend Tyler Lockett was released by the team after 10 years at Lumen Field.
