A Dragons’ Den contestant was found dead in a woodland area after killing himself, with his ‘devastated’ son paying tribute to his ‘loyal, courageous dad’.
Graeme Turner, 53, was found dead on October 1, in Pwllhei, North Wales, an inquest heard today.
In 2010, he pitched his customisable children’s wall paper kit to the Dragons on the hit BBC business show.
The kit allowed parents to transform their child’s bedroom into their favourite football stadium. He ended up continuing his business without any investments from the Dragons.
At the hearing on Monday, coroner Kate Robertson gave a verdict of suicide for his death. Mr Turner’s funeral was held on January 16.
His son paid tribute to him in an emotional Facebook post which reads: ‘I have just lost the best, strongest, kindest, most loyal, courageous dad I have ever had and known, he was the godfather, the inspiration in my life.
‘I am devastated and that is an understatement.’

‘Graeme Turner sadly passed away after a long battle with illness.’
Another posted: ‘Very sad news, Graeme was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed by all Condolences to Graeme family and friends.’
‘A great man and I had the privilege to be in his company on many occasions in my time,’ a third said.
