Eight people have been rushed to hospital after a 2.5meter high house balcony they were reportedly having lunch on collapsed.
A dog was also reported injured after the balcony flooring gave way at about 2pm on Saturday at a residential address on O’Donohue Road, Anglesea on Victoria’s southern Surf Coast.
Three men, three women and two teenage girls were taken to Geelong Hospital suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
They remain in a stable condition.
A building surveyor will assess the structure of the building and the SES has cordoned off the area.
