Journalist Andy Webb has said that the BBC “could have committed a criminal offence” by not disclosing information relating to the explosive Martin Bashir’s interview with Princess Diana.
Speaking to GB News he said: “It is a fact that to unlawfully conceal information that that ought to be given to anybody who requests it under Freedom of Information is a crime and it has an unlimited fine.
“The ICO, that’s the body that administers the Freedom of Information Act, they are looking to see whether the BBC has, as I allege, committed an actual criminal offence.”
