Milan Skriniar has been offered to Aston Villa as the club seek a short-term replacement for the injured Pau Torres.
The centre back is out of favour at Paris Saint-Germain, who are desperate to move him on during the January transfer window and are hoping to find a potential buyer in the Premier League.
Skriniar, 29, earns about £200,000 a week and is under contract until 2028.
With Torres absent for about two months with a broken foot, Villa boss Unai Emery wants another centre back to go with his main target, an attacker capable of playing across the front line.
Villa have made offers for Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen but the clubs have yet to reach an agreement.

AC Milan winger Samu Chukwueze, who worked with Emery at Villarreal, has also been proposed to Villa and they may consider him if they cannot do a deal for Malen.
