Shoppers are going wild following news that Aldi is bringing back its popular burger condiments in time for summer.

The chain confirmed it’s reviving a famous trio of flavour-packed sauces for less than £1 each due to “popular demand”.

Shoppers will soon be able to get their hands on the budget retailer’s classic bacon mayo, caramelised onion mayo, and lemon and black pepper mayo.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “Aldi’s bacon mayo, as well as other flavours in this a-mayo-nnaising range, are available in stores now for just 89p.

“The Bacon Mayo comes as Heinz launches its new Smokey Bacon Ketchup but Aldi’s twist on a classic is a whopping 51 per cent cheaper (based on 250ml).

“With bacon being a popular breakfast staple for years coupled with the popularity of mayonnaise, Aldi’s Bacon Mayo is the perfect pairing and has been enough back to shelves after popular demand.”

It added: “For shoppers looking to up their condiment game, they can find this trio of saucy delights in stores now and via Click and Collect.”

Shoppers who have caught wind of the relaunch are already going wild on social media, where one user wrote: “The bacon mayo is sensational on burgers”.

“Finally @aliduk, I’ve had to shop elsewhere for my burger sauce,” quipped another user, while a third added: “All 3 needed.”

Others have struggled to get behind the alternative condiment flavours, with one writing: “Had the bacon mayo since last year and it’s absolutely disgusting.”

It comes as shoppers can also expect to find Specialbuys as from next Sunday. On April 21st, Aldi will stock three new beauty plants, including the Mini Crassula Ovata in Ceramic, Roots & Blooms Senetti (17cm) and the Roots & Blooms Hydrangea (19cm), which will cost £3.49, £3.49 and £7.99 respectively.

For Britons hoping to make headway on their home projects, the supermarket will be stocking seven new DIY tools.

The cheapest product of the bunch is The Adhesive Hooks and Felt Pad Set, each retailing at £3.99.

The plants and DYI tools, both launching on the same day, will be labelled Specialbuy items, meaning “once they’re gone, they’re gone”.
