Residents in Scampton have hit out at the asylum camp that could arrive from April the 14th.
Speaking to GB News one person said: “It’s a 2000 asylum seekers I want to put in and there’s only what, 638 locals.
“I think it’ll be overwhelming for the locals and I don’t think it’ll be such good idea. With me having kids myself and having five daughters and everything else that’s going on at the minute, I don’t think it should be anywhere close to a small city like this. And what about the preservation of the heritage here as well?”
