Unknown to many, a vitamin B12 deficiency can be serious as it could lead to nerve damage and neurological problems if left untreated.
A content creator described the symptoms she felt before being diagnosed with a vitamin B12 deficiency.
Tasha Newcombe spoke on TikTok about how she suffered “quite badly” with her health.
She said: “I suffered with extreme fatigue, lack of energy, dizzy spells, passing out and pins and needles in my hands and feet.

“I also used to suffer with mouth ulcers when I used to get run down. My immune system was pretty bad, to be honest.”
After dealing with these health worries, Tasha went for a blood test where she discovered she had a lack of vitamin B12.
The TikToker said: “I do have to get injections, pretty much for the rest of my life because my body does not produce the B12 as much as it could.
“I get the injections every three months but I do get lagged down in between those from when I have them first done and towards the end.”
Tasha noticed a difference in herself as she would feel “really run down” and lose her motivation.
She stated: “One thing I have been trying and am loving is the B12 liquid complex. I take these every morning religiously now and see such a change in myself and the way my body is functioning.
“I am less tired and more motivated and they do not hurt as bad as the injections.”
The content creator still has to have her injections every three months, but the liquid complex helps her along.
