Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has received a flood of support after sharing a family update on social media.
The Australian dancer, 35, shared snap of her beloved father in a hospital bed, captioning the post: “My dad, my super hero”.
The choreographer has in the past shared her dad Mark’s battle with cancer. In 2023, she explained he had undergone a third round of chemotherapy.
While she hasn’t shared details about why her dad is in hospital, the comments section was soon flooded with supportive messages from well-wishers.
Several of Buswell’s Strictly co-stars were among those who commented, including head judge Shirley Ballas, who penned: “Love dad, love you be strong.”
“Send my love to Mark!!!! Xx,” another fan shared, with someone else adding: “Get well soon.”
A fourth remarked: “Sending so much love and support keep strong.”
“Sending healing hugs for a speedy recovery xx,” another added.

“Oh no, what’s happened? Why is Mark back in hospital? I hope he’s okay. I love your family. They’re so sweet,” someone else wrote.
Another penned: “Sending love and hugs Dianne to you and all your family, I hope Mark is home again very soon.”
Buswell has been back in Australia to see her family for a few weeks, with boyfriend Joe Sugg joining her.
The update comes just days after the dancer shared a sad family bereavement.
Earlier this month, she posted a sweet clip of her nan, writing: “Rest in peace nan.”
The message continued: “Love you very much. I’m so grateful I was home to say goodbye to such a special lady in my life.
Now go be with pop he has been patiently waiting for you.”
The compilation of clips included sweet selfie videos of Buswell and her grandmother, with Buswell repeatedly telling her nan how “gorgeous” she looked.

Buswell’s nan was also seen spending time with her long-term boyfriend and former Strictly partner Joe Sugg.
Also included were examples of various videos sent between Buswell and back home, including her grandmother cheering on the dancer and her 2023 Strictly partner Bobby Brazier.
