Protesters have taken to the streets in the UK to campaign against Elon Musk and Tesla in response to his political actions and controversial statements in recent months.
A number of protesters are campaigning outside a Tesla showroom in London in the latest round of protests to take aim at Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk.
Posting on social media site BlueSky, TeslaTakedown UK announced that protests would be taking place in London and Manchester today, Saturday, March 15.
Protesters can be seen holding signs including “Honk if you hate Elon”, “Stop, dump, deport Musk” and “Enough fascist nonsense”.

One demonstrator was even spotted holding a sign calling on drivers to avoid buying a “swasticar”, which has become a popular term for opponents of Musk to call Teslas.
The group behind the protest says it aims to stop Elon Musk from funding far-right figure Tommy Robinson, US President Donald Trump and Europe’s right-wing political parties.
Musk has provoked particular criticism following his allegiance with Nigel Farage and Reform UK, as well as supporting Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) in the recent German election.
The Tesla Takedown movement has organised a large number of protests in the coming days in most US states, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Iceland and Denmark.

It positions itself as a peaceful protest movement, adding that the group opposes violence, vandalism and destruction of property.
One of the key arguments from the group is for drivers around the world to boycott Tesla by discouraging motorists from investing in Elon Musk’s electric vehicles.
It also advocates for people to sell their stock in Tesla and pressuring other people to abandon their interest in the automotive manufacturer.
While protests have largely been confined to the United States, protests are starting to become more common in the UK, with Just Stop Oil campaigners targeting a Tesla store earlier this week.

Two JSO supporters poured orange liquid latex over an Optimus humanoid robot at a Tesla location in Shepherd’s Bush after calling on the Government to phase out fossil fuel burning by 2030.
The two activists aimed directly at Elon Musk, describing him as a “fascist” and a “power-hungry billionaire”.
After unfurling a Just Stop Oil banner, the pair said: “While the rich dream of Nazi robots and swasti-cars, what the rest of us need is warm housing, clean affordable energy and cheap public transport.
“Don’t let billionaires decide your future. Let’s reclaim democracy. Join us this Spring in Parliament Square as we demand an emergency plan to Just Stop Oil by 2030. Shut down the fascists!”
