Both the ID. Every1 and ID.2all will be based on Volkswagen’s new modular electric drive (MEB) platform with front-wheel drive.
The concept model of the ID. Every1 reaches a top speed of 130km/h (80mph), has a range of at least 250km (155 miles) and a luggage compartment volume of 305 litres.
Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen, said: “The ID. Every1 represents the last piece of the puzzle on our way to the widest model selection in the volume segment.
“We will then offer every customer the right car with the right drive system – including affordable all-electric entry-level mobility.

First-look images of the ID. Every1 show a sleek electric vehicle based on the popular up! model, which was in production until 2023.
Volkswagen head of design Andreas Mindt said the brand wanted to create something “bold yet accessible” with dynamic front lights and a “smiling” rear.
The interior features black and orange detailing, complete with flush white seats and minimalist detailing.

Drivers will have a number of buttons at their fingertips on the steering wheel with a relatively clear dashboard, which a growing number of drivers have been calling for.
As with all new models, the concept vision contains an infotainment screen which shows the condition of the vehicle, music settings, heating control and built-in maps.
Mindt added that the design features make it “more than just a car”, with the ID. Every1 having a character and an identity that “people can relate to”.
Kai Grünitz, development lead on the Volkswagen Brand Board of Management, said: “In the future model, we talk about Customer Defined Vehicles.
