Dave Portnoy was an ardent supporter of Donald Trump at last year’s election but this week, the Barstool Sports founder believes the President has questions to answer.
Portnoy took to social media to question Trump over a multitude to talking points from the week, including Andrew Tate and brother Tristan returning to the United States.
Portnoy also appears to be unimpressed about Elon Musk’s role in his administration.
It prompted Portnoy to take to social media and say: ‘If I’m gonna be fair these questions needs to be asked today.
‘Why is the release of the Epstein list always a s*** show? What’s the point of booting out illegals and criminals while somehow becoming a safe haven for the Tate brothers?
‘Why is Crypto in the toilet if Trump is crypto king? How far does Tsla stock have to crash before Elon goes back to work?’
The Tate brothers were allowed to leave Romania this week following an alleged intervention by Donald Trump’s administration but the President said on Thursday that he didn’t know anything about their release.
The brothers, who are joint US and UK nationals but lived near Bucharest, were arrested in 2022 on charges of human trafficking, sexual misconduct, money laundering and forming an organized crime group. They have denied any wrongdoing.
They also face charges including accusations of rape and human trafficking in the UK, and a court in Bucharest has ruled that they can be extradited to Britain once a final decision is reached in their case in Romania.
According to the brothers’ lawyer, the ‘primary’ reason they feel safe to return to the United States is that ‘Donald Trump is the president’.
