But the Brazil international signed a new four-and-a-half year deal over the weekend to commit his immediate future to the Molineux club.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are among the clubs to have monitored the former Atletico Madrid star.
