The identity of The Masked Singer’s Bear may soon be unveiled as a star from ITV’s The Chase, according to fan sleuths.
Others believe an EastEnders star is behind Bear, dressed in Shakespearean era garb, after an onscreen slip-up.
Still remaining in the competition are Bush, Dressed Crab, Kingfisher, Pufferfish, Snail, Wolf and Bear.
Comedian and presenter Mel Giedroyc was the last celebrity unmasked on Saturday’s show after she was revealed to be the face behind Teeth.
Debate has swirled on who could be behind Bear with two competing theories dominating discourse.
Bear’s costume features a stereotypically Thespian getup, including suitably Shakespearean facial hair.

EastEnders star Richard Blackwood, 51, has emerged as a favourite after he seemingly revealed his involvement on The Masked Singer while appearing on ITV news.
“I could… because you made me feel so good and stuff,” a flustered Blackwood answered when asked if he could reveal his role on the show.
He added cautiously: “No, I can’t, I can’t. But the moves and the way I… I mean, that’s how I would do it.”
The slip was enough to convince some fans. However, others were Bear’s voice pointed to The Chase’s Shaun Wallace – otherwise known as The Dark Destroyer.
“Based purely on the voice, I thought of Shaun Wallace from The Chase,” one fan deduced on social media.
“I think that’s Shaun Wallace from the Chase! #MaskedSingerUK,” another agreed enthusiastically on X.
Fans have also put forward Wallace as Bear’s true identity

However, Bear’s voice has left other viewers even more confused.
“Bear that wasn’t the voice from last week I’m back to square one #MaskedSingerUK,” on puzzled fan wrote.
Another exclaimed: “Every time I think I know who Bear is, he sings with a different tone. I’m so confused #maskedsingeruk.”
“Bear is SO good at playing the character that it’s hard to work out who he is. He keeps switching it up! So many names buzzing around my head,” a third commented excitedly.
