Reuben Owen, the son of Our Yorkshire Farm stars Clive and Amanda Owen, has aired his frustrations over the current working conditions he’s enduring in the Dales.
The young farmer has been hard at work helping his parents restore a derelict property to its former glory as well as taking on numerous contracting jobs elsewhere.
But now with just a few days to go before Christmas, Owen has taken to social media to vent his anger at the weather making his remaining work commitments less than easy to complete.
On TikTok and Instagram, Owen shared a montage of clips of himself in his array of tractors and diggers as he showed off the recent jobs he’s undertaken.
In the accompanying caption on Instagram, Owen admitted to his followers: “On to the next job. Getting sick of the rain now. #wet #rain.”
When asked if he’s been “keeping busy” over on TikTok, Owen replied: “Been flat out this year mate.”

He also commented “cheers” to another TikTok fan who praised his machine operating skills.
While he may not be experiencing an easy time of things on the farm at the moment, Owen can take comfort in the sheer number of followers who praised him for his work ethic.
“For a lad of your age you are doing brilliant pal, so focused. When I was your age, I wasn’t as focused as you. Top lad, well done,” one Instagram user praised.
A second lauded: “You’re an inspiration for young people, hardworking. Love watching your posts.”
Elsewhere, a third weighed in: “I think we are all getting fed up with the rain Reuben, glad you are keeping busy though.”
While a fourth echoed: “You never let it stop you though Reuben, you’re always hard at work no matter what the weather brings.”
And a fifth heaped on the praise: “It’s great the way you get on what a great example of good work ethic & practice…do hope you give yourself a nice break over the festival period just to enjoy & recharge yourself…love your posts.” (sic)
The youngster’s irritation towards the weather comes just days after mum Amanda Owen sparked concern when she unveiled her own battle with the climate.
