A group of sex-crazed beachgoers were caught having a wild public orgy, shocking witnesses who caught them in the act.
Footage of the obscene incident showed several nude men on the rocks in an isolated area accessible by trail, where visitors are permitted to sunbathe nude.
The beach, Olho de Boi, is located in Buzios, an upscale resort town 100 east of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In response, the Rio de Janeiro Military Police announced that they would be stepping up surveillance and patrols along the beach.
Article 233 of the Brazilian Penal Code prohibits the practice of obscene acts in public spaces.
Criminal offenders can be punished with a fine or a jail sentence ranging from three months to one year.
Footage of the incident, apparently recorded by a passenger on passing vessel, went viral and provoked outrage on social media.

The incident comes just three weeks after at least 30 men were busted for having an orgy on Arpoador beach in Rio de Janeiro.
The sex party reportedly started on New Year’s Eve and lasted until dawn.
The participants were also caught on camera.
